I just love the KRAFTIN KIMMIE artists...this one is from Ana Rodrigues..."Moonlight Whispers." These stylish ladies love to have a GOOD CUP OF CHEER..... I used the same papers for each of the cards and I glamoured the ladies with different hair colours and dress colours....of course adding bling always makes everything sparkle and shine!!!

Holiday flowers and martinis...

With a red dress...one can never go wrong....stylish all the way...Santa's favourite colour too.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

Every where I go, I see Christmas lights, ornaments, holly, tinsel, glitter and baubles...Love it, Love it...Love it. I also love these Magnolia stamps that I picked up from a terrific lady who is a Stampin Up Rep. Here is sitting Christmas Tilda baking Gingerbread Men. I added the accents from a sticker pack I purchased from Wal-mart and the paper of course is one of my faves from Bo Bunny. Jingle, Jingle, Jingle..... Christmas Tilda and her ornament...maybe she wants to keep this one for herself instead of placing it up on the tree.

Holiday Tilda with present. Looks like she is all bundled up and walking down the village to get to her friends house with a pretty package...

Then there is Edwin...always making his own fun. Edwin toboggans down the Village slopes...

Cinderella...my Favourite Princess

Hello: Today I created some cards in the station....this one I must say was a treat to do. I used some left over holiday papers, my cricut machine and the Cinderella ~ Kraftin Kimmie stamp http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com. The challenge was to "Pin it Down" so I used a pin from a scrapbook shadow box to pin down the bow.

Final Touches to the Autumn Season....

Good Morning: I have some final touches to remember 2011's Autumn Season. Outside of Christmas my favourite season is Autumn. I love the rich colours, the aromas and of course Halloween....I have some more Halloween cards to create for next year....with some terrific papers that I purchased at Scrapfest....Here is a card inspired to me by WAL-MART....the gift card was so adoreable, that I asked the clerk if I could just have one. Voila..I came up with this from items in my Halloween stash... The card...

These goodie bags were for the teachers at my school. Candy corn, orange and black jelly beans...I was not able to attend on Halloween. My DD had her tonsils out..poor kid, but no worries I saved her candy....

A Wall Canvass Mural gift for Danya......My Fella's DD turned 13...an official teenager now. I took these photos at our local farm last year and I saved them just to make her a wall mural of her and her BFF....Too Cute to Spook....

Folding Cards

Hi everyone: Hope you are having a fun creative day.... I wanted to try something new so I went onto Youtube to check on some tutorials. Folding cards seem to be big so I tried one out. This is my attempt at one lol...never could measure worth anything lol......I winged it...

This is the card all opened up....lots of fun and done in no time.....

Here is a card requested by my Fella for his DD's 13th bday....she loves to be on computer and she loves to spend money....hey what teen doesn't...she is officially a teen.....beautiful.

Hello everyone: I hope you are having a creative day. My DD and I went to Scrapfest and wow did we have a ton of fun. Of course Rebecca loves "Your Next Stamp." http://www.yournextstamp.com and she dented most of my birthday money onto these wonderful stamps. Karen is the owner of this terrific stamp company and her hubby was kind enough to allow us to take some photos of the creations. For inspiration only....none of the cards on Kards for Kids are sold..they are purely volunteered with lots of love for smiles for the kids. So Rebecca and I did some shopping with the kids in mind. Did I tell you that Rebecca is very creative? Well her colouring of the images surpasses mine and I am recruiting her to get some colouring done for the Kards for Kids Holiday card drive

On Thanksgiving Monday evening....I created this Shadow Box for my Fella's mom. I delivered it on my way to work before she head north. She loved it.

This House Mouse notebook was created especially for my school's chef's daughter. Mice are her favourite. I am working on a few note cards for her too...

Last but certainly not least...our school production this year is Peter Pan. My DD's teacher was so thrilled to receive this notebook...stage notes...and I was so happy to create it for her.

Hi everyone: I just returned from a mini holiday with my Fella and we had a wonderful time. This is the view on our way to his trailer....somewhere in the Kawarthas...

You can't take the city of the lady but you sure can make country grow on her. So with many country tunes, great food, fun friends, laughs by the fire and some just put your feet up days...we made it through some of the cold evenings and relished in the sunny days. Here is a view from his brother's deck. I enjoy watching the boats go by the riverside.

I don't care how many photos I take of the water, they are always breathtaking to me. I love the water, river, lake, ocean (my fave of course)....

We spent some time painting the sheds.....Looks a little like a Cape Cod house to me....

and this is me.....creating cards on the deck..

I am so glad that I packed a whole buggy of crafts to create cards because as my Fella "puttered" so he says, I had fun creating cards and more cards.

Here are some of the cards that I created. Some of the neighbouring people who passed by came and looked at what I was doing. One grandmother and her grandson were going to the store and the store was closed. How disappointing was that?! I offered her grandson a card kit and told her it was sugar free lol.....she was delighted and he went to make a card for mom who was coming the next day. I was so glad to offer him a card kit and he was so happy too.

Here is BATCH NO. 1 - I created...I used my Kraftin Kimmie Stamps of course...

Here is BATCH No. 2...I enjoyed creating the Marina Mermaid in all different colours....one tip here is that I used "Debbie Travis' paint chips for the backgrounds of my cards. Just to add a little bit of colour and a little abstract effect. Do you see them peeking out from underneath the image? LOL>>>

and this is Batch No. 3...I sure had a lot of fun creating these cards. I did it in a period of two days and I am so glad that I was able to pack up the cards kits so that I was prepared when I got there to create. The only thing I forgot was a pencil sharpener for my Prismas. I used a lot of the High Hopes Under the Sea stamps too. One of my faves...."Sweet Anabela" named after moi.... lol...

End of School Year Teacher Cards

Hello Everyone: Well it is the end of another school year. My DD completed grade 5 with "Honours!" I am so excited and proud of her. My DS graduated from grade 8 and he is on his way to being a future track star...12.5 seconds on a 100 meter run....WoW!!! They call him the "Silver Bullet." I can't wait to scrapbook those pages....

Here are some end of the year cards to the wonderful grade 8 teachers and previous teachers that taught my DS throughout his 8 years at our home school....in Southern Ontario..... This card was created for our Robotics Teacher at my DD's Private school.

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge No. 70 Entry...and some cards

Here are some BIRTHDAY CARDS that I have created for the teachers in my school.

When you have to make this many cards, it is best to create in mass production. I used my Cricket, "Bloom" cartridge for these cards and Bo Bunny's "Peacock" patterened paper collection. The flowers are Prima and the paper flowers, butterflies are from Martha Stewart punches. Add some Stickles glitter and voila......

Just a Few More Pages...to end the day...

Hello..okay it still needs some fixing up but it is functionable and that is all I cared about this weekend. I wanted to go from point A to Z on my rolly chair and get all the items that I needed to SCRAP....The wonderful work station for BELA'S CREATING STATION...for me to place my die cut machines on. My wonderful Fella, put the table together....he is AMAZING!!!

This is where I hang my ribbons that I am using at the time. My AMAZING Fella also made me this round-a-bout for my stickers...he is amazing!!!

The whole view...I still need more lighting and some organizing to complete.

All my patterned papers are tucked away by season or theme. My cardstock is in rolly buckets on the floor. All kept away from the floor in case ever there is a flood.
Some of the layouts that I created this weekend. They are displayed and out to dry before they find a home in their appropriate album.

CREATING IN THE NEW STATION...MOJO MADDNESS!!!

Hello Ladies....I hope you are enjoying your day....I have been in my new organized Scraproom, The Creating Station burning the midnight oil (till 4 a.m.) creating layouts that have been longing to be thought of and completed. So after many hours of fun here they are.....

Page 1- of 2 - - I used Basic Grey's "Mellow" patterned paper for this layout. Black Diamond Stickles, prima flowers and embellishments from Dollarama....

Page 2 - the leaves were cut using my Cricket, "Paper Dolls" cartridge.

FALL FUN....

Bo Bunny's patterned paper....Prima flowers, brads from the Dollar Store, Pebbles Inc. Sentiment sticker, "Enjoy Every Moment." Black Diamond Stickles and two cute kids playing in the leaves.

I love detail on my layouts. I used charms for the very first time. I purchased these at the dollar store too.

TLC ribbon that was gifted to me... yes I use each and every scrap, ribbon and embellie on my layouts. The more dimensional the better.

We Are Memory Keepers, patterned double-sided papers. I used my Quick Kutz Silhouette to cut the paper flowers on this page. Sentiment sticker, "gotta have shades" from Die Cuts with a View. Letters and palm tree cut with the Cricket system, "Alphalicious" and "Paper Dolls." Buttons from the dollarstore and mesh, believe it or not...save your easter egg chocolate mesh bags. I knew it would come in handy one day. Beach brads were given to me in a RAK (random act of kindness) swap.

The fish were from a sticker pack that I purchased at Michaels'.

MWAH!!!

Patterned Paper is from a pack that I purchased at Michaels a while ago. It all co-ordinates with cardstock and letter stickers. Ribbon from my local Scap store, Prima flowers and die cuts cut with the Cricket System, "Just Because Cards." To create the ribbon, I simply tied it around a stamp cleaner bottle, tied it twice, fixed the bow a little and I slipped it off the bottle. I then cut the loop in half and VOILA... a pretty ribbon bow. You just can't go wrong with this trick.

Kraftin Kimmie's Challenge 69 - Anything Goes

Hello Everyone: I am posting today a card entry for a challenge at
Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

This card was especially created for my son's grade 8 Teacher who is leaving our school for the original teacher to return from maternity leave. It is sad to see her leave but she will be back for confirmation and graduation.

I created this card using some older Patterned papers from the paper pack: :Groovy Blossom, from Close to My Heart http://www.closetomyheart.com

The stamp is from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, "Patsy." Kimmie has a whole line of 50's character stamps, they are delicious.

I used my Pebbles Inc. chaulks to colour Patsy and the flowers are from Prima.

Baby Showers and a Crop

Hello Ladies: I hope you are enjoying your weekend and that you have found some time to get into your Crop Zone.... I had a request for Baby cards this week and this is what I came up with.

My patterned papers are from random papers that I had since 2005, hey all had to be used right? That means more room for new stuff.

It's a Shower....for a mommy expecting a baby boy....

It's a Shower.....I put the baby boy clothes out on a clothes line, not knowing that we were expecting showers hee hee....

All of the 3D stickers were purchased at Indigo Book Stores (A sale and gifted to me from one of our lovely teachers at the school in which I work at)....The rain drops are from Jolees. The stamp was one that I purchased in a bin from Michaels'.

A Crop Night and only one PAGE

I arrived after 5 p.m. and it took me all night to create this two page layout. There was a time that in one sitting (7 p.m. to midnight) I was able to create at least 6 to ten layouts. It was all in the pre-planning. However, I did not have the time, therefore this is what I accomplished.

I used Bo Bunny Peacock papers for this double page layout. Prima Flowers and I still need to put the finishing touches on it with Stickles and brads. I will post the completed artwork later.

Hello Creative Ladies: I hope you are enjoying your day. It is cold and snowing again here in Southern Ontario. My DD is home ill today and I am taking it easy after the stomach bug. Still not a hundred pecent. Today I want to share a birthday gift that I made for our cook at our private school. She is just a superb lady. Originally I was going to make her a recipe book but after consistant investigating, I learned that she has all of her recipes in her head. Therefore I decided to make her something different.

A Stationary booklet....This is so quick and very easy to create.

Recipe:
- 12x12 cardstock, score at 6inches length wise and 3.5 inches width wise.
- Fold accordingly....
- tape or glue the inside, side pockets.
- decorate your folder with some of your favourite papers.

Quick Quotes Patterned Paper, "Andrew Avenue."

When I saw this paisly patterened paper, I knew I had to have it. I purchased Bazzil cardstock to match in colours (as I name them...) buttercup yellow, plum purple and Spring green.

The flowers are Prima and the satin ones are from an unknown company. I used the Martha Stewart punch to cut out the bottom of the matted part. I also used an older Close to My Heart (CTMH) stamp to stamp the flower on the outside and on the lined stationery paper.

Here are some fun cards I whipped up last weekend for school. I love making cards for our teachers. In the month of March we celebrate 5 wonderful unique ladies at our school. One of them is our Mrs. Delicious, our wonderful cook. She always sports a smile, a clean apron, wonderful meals and lots of love put into them. This is Mrs. Delicious' card.

Card recipe:

Cricket "From my Kitchen" cartridge die cut apron, whisk and rolling pin.

Cosmo Cricket, The Dutch Girl paper crafting kit stripped paper, "Lena and Hans"

Floral paper, "Anna" was used for the apron.

Martha Stewart Floral punch and border punch

Dollar store buttons and Bazzil red cardstock.

Recipe for these cards are:

Bo Bunny Back to Basics, Gift of Love double-sided papers, "Coral Dot and Coral Stripe." These colourful papers also come with die cut tags. I especially love the coral, green and brown tones.

Hello everyone: I want to share a gift that I created for our wonderful cook at our school on behalf of my daughter Rebecca. Mrs. Delicious, that is her nickname given to her by my son Justyn, creates beautiful birthday cakes for the students at our school. We wanted to thank her with this scrumptious gift. It consists of: A Thank you card, four 4x4 note cards and 4 smaller blank note cards.I used the Basic Grey, Lemonade collection. These papers are called: Poppy Field and Cherry Cobbler. I just loved using these and as you see, I used up every peice of paper in this collection to make these fun note cards. The stamp that I used is from: Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com she is called, "Merry." I covered the turkey that she is holding with a cake. I used my "From my Kitchen" Cricket cartridge to cut the cake. The cake was then embellished (iced) with red Stickles and punched out die cut flowers. The apron comes from the Cricket, "From my Kitchen" cartridge as well. I really enjoyed making these and Mrs. Delicious was delighted.

These note cards were a last minute creation. I wanted to use up all of this scrumptious paper and I came up with these.

The best part of it all was: Mrs. Delicious enjoys sending hand written cards to friends and family. Have a happy creative day.

Hello Everyone: I hope you are enjoying a wonderful creative day. I have been busy with other ventures.....raising kids, work, housework etc...but I did find some time to create a few fun things. My Teacher's daughter at school was having a 12th birthday party. I offered to create the invitations, "ROXY" style. Here they are....I used my Revolution to cut out the flourishes. The cardstock is Bazzil Bling in the deepest cherry red and the red flowers from Prima. The stamp is an invite set that my daughter got as a gift one year from a friend. Yes, I looked through her stash and found a great stamp to create with. Prima bling embellishments and some black shiny ribbon on the bottom gave these invites the Roxy Flavour that was requested.

The pocket was so simple to make. I used my largest Creative Memories circle and I cut out a cirlce using the largest blade (blue). I then folded the circle into a pocket and I cut the inside invite to fit.

some dollar store bling was added and I used some Stickles to glamour these up.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!! I think I have made cards for almost everyone that I know and it has been a lot of fun doing so. With the new stamps and papers, I have been able to keep the creative juices flowing. The Mojo has now gone to other ventures.

Hello: Cold day today in Southern Ontario and the ground is covered with snow. Not like my friends further north about an hour....they are home bound. I hope you are keeping warm. Well my DD is home with tonsilitis, again. yeppers!!! Tomorrow we are going to the ENT. Hopefully they can get those nasty tonsils out in January. While she has been resting I have been making cards for school.....ahem...the Teachers..you'll see...scroll down please lol..

Hello everyone: I hope you are staying warm inside. Yesterday was a cold one, blowing snow and just plain old freezing in Toronto. Here are my kids Rebecca and Justyn at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children helping me deliver the wonderful cards that poured in for the
HSC Kards for Kids Christmas Card Roll-Call for 2010.Together we delivered 149 cards to the kids this holiday season. Thank you so much to all who participated in this wonderful event. Kards for Kids will be an on-going thing. Please click on the High Hopes Monkey with the "love letter" to see what goes on at Kards for Kids.

We braved the cold weather, bundled up and we went to see the Hudson Bay's Christmas windows. This has been a family tradition for me since I was a little girl. I take my children to Toronto every year.

There is nothing like a "Dicken's Christmas." I just adore these beautifully decorated windows.

Oh the elves are loading up Santa's Sleigh and don't forget Santa's Hudson Bay Blanket.

The Swazorski Christmas tree at the Eaton Centre, filled with thousands of crystal lights. This tree is three storeys high.

My handsome son, Justyn receiving texts from friend and getting the "411" on the day that he missed at school.

There was a lot of laughter after this photo was taken.

Every time we take a trip to T.O. we go visit our dear friend Marie. She was out on break so we decided to go and find her in the shopping concourse. Justyn and I reved up our cell phones and communicated with codes such as: "Haven't spotted the eagle." "Code yellow, getting closer to food court." "Roger that!" "The Eagle has been spotted, quick about face and sneak up for surprise hello." We got her...Justyn went up to say hello, she looked puzzled and then she recongnized him. How can anyone forget that adorable face!!! We all had lunch together, reminisced and laughed out loud.

Back out to the snow....

A fun day of shopping for Justyn...after he had his teeth looked at by the Orthodontist. His teeth look amazing. Two and a half years of braces and now voila...million dollar smile.

On Dasher, on Dancer on Comet and Virgin? Virgin cell phone service put this huge reindeer up outside Marie's place of work. The kids got a kick out of it.

On our way back home. We must of hit every electronic store in that radius. Kissed by Jack Frost and nipped by Old Man Winter, it was now time to get home.

I have been trying to download these photos off of my cell phone for a while now. Thanks to the kind clerks at Telus, they told me how. LOL... I am not very computer savvy.

In October my DD and I went to Scrapfest. It was her first and probably my fourth. Anyway we will be making it a tradition every year. My DD is very much into making cards and scrapbooking, ahem...like her Mother. LOL>>>

Kelly Panacci, former Designer for Sandylion. Kelly has a new Valentine line coming out in January 2011. It is exclusive to K&Company and available at Michaels. I smell a shopping spree.

Kimmie was my inspiration to make cards. I had been scrapbooking for two years and I had accumulated a lot of scraps. I just couldn't throw anything out. I met a new friend, Donna on blogger through a mutual friend and Donna introduced me to Kimmie's blog. From there I created cards and was priviledged to win one of her prizes for a card challenge that she hosted on her blog. I thank Kimmie for all the inspiration. Go and check out her new line of stamps,they are adorable. I for sure had to get some at the Scrapfest...thank goodness for birthday money lol....

Hello everyone: Can you believe we are one month away from Christmas? I hope you have some shopping done and your cards ready to mail. I have been working away at getting cards together for family and friends. I would love to share these with you.

Just Chillin... Snow Globe with the last bit of my "Heidi Grace" felt papers.

Motivet Stamps..I love this one..they look like they are having so much fun.

Close to My Heart stamp....Stamp of the Month for October..isn't he the cutest little snowman all happy? I used a new technique for the background and I was very happy the way that it turned out.

Close to My Heart does it again...I love this Santa and Rudolph. I call it the Santa "Roll Call." They are two separate stamps but I put them on one card. Rudolph's nose actually shines.

Can you believe this one? I used a colouring page that I downloaded, shrunk it and made an image for a card. I love this happy little guy, I turned him into an elf. He is on his break from making Christmas toys.

Another colouring page. I had fun making this one come to life in colour.

This Dalmation is also a colouring book image. My daughter loved this one the most.

Kards for Kids....Christmas Roll Call....

It is that time of year again....KARDS 4 KIDS Christmas Roll Call....

Attention all Cardmakers, stampers and scrappers. I would love for you to create some "simple" festive holiday cards for the children at Toronto Children's Hospital. No buttons, no brads, no bows please...just cute paper, images or festive sentiments. The doctors and nurses enjoy delivering these cards to the kids on their floor. So create for a wonderful cause. Notebooks are always welcome, as parents never come equipped with pens or pads of paper to write notes for their children's medical care while at the hospital.

Magnolia Elves in their Festive Habitats.

Hello...hope you are having a ceative day. I love creating cards on a cold evening. Paper, everywthere and hot coffee near by. Near by not close by...just to not spill. tee hee hee. These sweet little elves are at the North Pole on their sleigh. They are taking a short little break this afternoon. The Sleigh is cut out by using the Cricket "Stretch your Imagination" cartridge.

I love snowglobes. If I had the room in my house, I would collect them, especially Christmas ones. Here is a close up to see all the glitter, Liquie Applique and the elf sitting on the globe....3D is always effective on Christmas cards. Here is the little Christmas girl elf from Magnolia...she is so cute. I used the Heidi Swapp "Snow Veil" to create this card. The snowflakes are velvet. more liquid applique.

Now I am off to have some hot coco with my Tinkerbell..she is not feeling well at all. More cards to come and some exciting news to come too.

It's what's in the package that counts.... Kraftin Kimmie has these wonderful stamps called, "Glamour Girls." I used pattered papers from "Best Creations Inc." called, "Winter Wonderland." This paper is glittery and absolutely fun to work. The colours are so rich. Here is Samantha, Vavavoom...

she can also be used as a Christmas tag.

I used Heidi Swapp Snow Veil patterned papers for this card. I have officially used the last bit of this paper...one of my favourites.

This is Vivienne....I used Bo Bunny's Back to Back "Gift of Love" for this card. Liquid Applique was used for her feather headdress.

It's that time of year....Creating in my Christmas Socks

Hello everyone: I sure hope you are staying warm if you live out here....I can feel the cold front coming in. Well this weekend I got out my warm comfy Christmas Stockings and I created all day. Christmas cards....Take a look and see....My Christmas socks even have snowflakes at the bottom of them.....tee hee hee....Here is a card with a Kraftin Kimmie Stamp....http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com. I used Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses from last year's Christmas line. The frame and the winter trees were cut out using the Cricket System, "Stretch your Imagination. All of my cardstock is usually Basic Grey or Core-dinations. Aren't they just the cutest couple?

Meet "Snowy!!!" You can find him at High Hopes Stamps http://www.highhopesstamps.com. This paper was purchased at my local Scrap store. I never heard of this company, "Best Creations Inc." This patterned paper is called: ""Winter Wonderland." The glitter on this paper is amazing. I use the Pebbles Inc. chaulks to give Snowy that white glow and the blue frame around him.

I used a lot of glitter on this card.....

Here is a view of the 3D details ...I used the Martha Stewart punch for the white twigs on the tree.

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge - DISTRESSING

Hello everyone: I hope you had a creative day. I was in the Creating Station today having fun with some of my stamps. First I want to show you what I did with my first entry to

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps' Blog Challenges....this week it is "Distressing."http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.com/

Talk about de-stressing while you are creating this. LOL>...It sure was fun to make. I took a Christmas approach to "Vavavoom." I dressed her up as a cute Christmas Girly. Isn't she a cutie?

I used papers from an old Christmas Slab from Michaels. I have so much paper I do not know what to do with it all. I used my Martha Stewart Punches for the snowflakes, Paper Bliss, Santa Hat, Red Stickles, gold holly stickers in which I used my Souffle markers to colour the Holly. There you have it.... The photos below show the details in the distressing. I have a special tool to distress cardstock and I find using Core-dinations is fun to distress with. It has a whole different colour in the "core."

Paper Bliss at Michaels, has some real fun stickers to play with. The Santa hat and the holly wreath are from there.

And for my sweet Tinkerbell...my DD Rebecca she made this with her very own Kimmie Stamp...
The Angry Ballerina.....lol....this is her to a "T" when I first saw her in Ballet class. She was not a happy ballerina. It is part of the school's cirriculumn....but Rock Band makes up for it.

Some left over Bo Bunny double-sided polka dot cardstock in moss green adds a little more touch of Christmas. It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Hello everyone: Can you believe that I saw my first Christmas commercial on T.V. this past Saturday? It over shadowed Halloween. The holidays seem to be getting closer. My American relatives and friends will be planning for Thanksgiving and then the holidays will be upon us.

I would like to share some of my creations. I am sorry for the photos as my lighting was not so great when I took these. I used a lot of my new stamps for these cards. Take a peek.....

This is the snowball fight....I used my friend's Cricket cartridges to cut out the frames. What a difference that makes. I also used cotton balls for this card for a 3D effect.

Whiff of Joy....this has to be one of my most favourite stamps from the collection. I use it all the time. I tried giving Willow, a chocolate blonde look. More Bo Bunny papers.

Another Whiff of Joy stamp....more Bo Bunny patterned papers and cricket frames.
Lastly, another Whiff of Joy card.

You would be suprised just how many cards you can make by using....2 patterned papers and 2 peices of cardstock. I still have some left over.

Some Not So Spooky Halloween Cards...

I just love using my Close to My Heart Halloween Haunted House stamp over and over again. This stamp guarantees a spooky Halloween card no matter what paper or embellishments that you use. The patterend papers are from Basic Grey's 6x6 packs. Embellishments from the dollar store and Martha Stewart's punches.

I just love these Magnolias and last year I purchased most of the Halloween collection for 2009. This little Witchy Poo is too cute to spook and so "Bewitching."

House Mouse stamps....what a cute stamp this is. I got this image from my stamping friend, Gale. She loves Halloween just as much as I do. I created this card last year, oops!!! I posted some more recent cards a few posts below, go take a peek...

I went to Scrapfest in Durham this past month and I was so happy to meet Emily from http://www.stampingbella.com/. She is the nicest lady ever. I introduced myself as being a "true Bela." LOL....She is now carrying Mo's Digi stamps in rubbah...go and see her site. Wonderful!!!!

I also met up with Kimmie http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/. The inspiration behind all of my cardmaking creations. My birthday was October 23 and just in time to get me some new stamps. I bought a whole bunch of Kimmie's stamps and I have some creations to share tomorrow with you. Go to Kimmie's site, oh my her stamps are just the cutest ever!!! It was a treat meeting the Design Team, I knew Tara from before and she was most helpful on assisting me with which Copics for me to purchase to start off. Great Team! Great Stamps! A lot of fun!!!!

I was delighted to see Kelly Panacci, previous Sandylion Designer. She is such a lovely lady. Her and her hubby told me that as of January 1st, yes Ladies, you heard it here!!!! Kelly's designs will be K&Company EXCLUSIVE!!!! Kelly's Valentine designs come out January 1st. Mark your calendars for a shopping trip to Michaels.

Well there you have it. A lot went on this October. My Fella's daughter celebrated her 12th birthday, she is a lovely young lady and I created this card just for her....

Here is another B-day card custom made for Fella's best friend's son. He is into Pokemon so I came up with this one...

Hello everyone: Hope you are all doing well and finding time to create. I love Halloween! I bought these Magnolia stamps last Spring and I am happy to say they were so much fun to play with.

Mummy on the prowl, "Get Spooked."

Card recipe: I used Basic Grey's Halloween 6x6 card patterned paper card collection. The stamp is from Magnolia and the embellishments from Dollarama. He is too cute to spook....

Tilda sitting on the fence...."Witching Hour."

Card recipe: I used BoBunny and Basic Grey Halloween collection from 2009. The stamp is from the Halloween Magnolia collection 2009 and the die cut witches are from a Martha Steward punch. The broom was left over from Close to My Heart's Autumn Splendor stickers and the rest of the embellies are from Michaels or Dollarama. Isn't she just the cutest little Witchy Poo?

I also purchased some of Mo's Digi Pencil designs, check out this witch card...

Card recipe: More Basic Grey and Bo Bunny Halloween 2009 paper collection. Image from Mos' Digi Pencil too. Flowers by Prima and the accent twigs, Martha Stewart punches. Bats are from the dollarstore and the dots are created with Stickles, Black Diamond crystal.

This card was a lot of fun to create too....."Creepy!!!"

Card recipe: Basic Grey Halloween 2009 Patterned paper for cards 6x6. Ghost stickers and "Creepy" sentiment from Dollarama. The die cut house, I believe was from Sizzix. I purchased a bunch from a lady on ebay a few years back.

This little spook is going to be spooked once he rings that door bell.....eeewww!!! CREEPY!!!

Lastly, time for a Layout....

"GOOD FORTUNE."

Seriously....my friend's dog, Ozzie (name after Ozzie Osbourne) gave me good fortune that Halloween night in 2008. I wrote my good fortune on my hide away journal tag box.

Recipe for Layout: Bazzil Bling black cardstock. Letter from Provo Craft. Bo Bunny Fall collection paper and I used my Close to My Heart spider web stamp to accent the patterned paper further. Flowers by Prima and stickers bought at Dollarama. The leaves were purchased at a dollarstore in Lyndsay. This was a fun layout to create and long overdue. I felt a twinkle for my Fella that evening. It was fate and fortune.

Hello everyone: I hope you enjoyed your Sunday. It is a long weekend here in Canada...called, "Civic Holiday." I cleaned up my scrap space this weekend and I made a trip out to the local scrap store. Hello everyone: Long time no see. I have been crazy busy with work but I am seriously going to dedicate myself back to my hobby. This is one photo that I want to scrapbook so badly. Any ideas anyone?

LOL...I kept telling Fella that I felt like Sandra Bullock in "Hope Floats." Love that movie!!!!! Yes, I love the Chick Flicks....they are just so light and easy to watch.

Now the funny thing is that later that night we went to the trailer for a barn dance. Woot!!! We all had fun, even the kids. LOL

Hi everyone: Have you ever created cards for a particular season and then it is too late to send them out? Well that seems to be a habit of mine. I just enjoy making cards so much and I really do say to myself, "Self....I think I should send this card to so and so..." Yadda, yadda, yadda....it ends up on my scrap table. OOOPsss!!! Without further ado, here are some cards that will certainly get a home next year and some that have been sent to others.

This Easter card went to my Fella.....I just adore these Motivet Designs. I used the rest of the paper that I won at an on-line crop a few years back from Lil Scrappers.

Hello everyone: I hope you are enjoying your day. I have some more cards to share that I created for the AUTISM AWARENESS AUCTION. I met this lady through a high school friend on Facebook. Both her neice and nephew have been diagnosed with Autism just like my son. She heard that I created cards for functions and she asked if I would create some for an Auction table. I was so happy to please.

I chose to create my cards using the High Hopes stamps. I just love these little zoo characters. Tonight I am creating some more cards but with the "under the sea" collection. Stay tuned and come back to see me tomorrow.

Hello everyone: I hope you are having a wonderful day/evening. It is Friday evening here in Southern Ontario and I am in the creating station just making cards. I have a few to show you tonight. I enjoy making cards so much and seriously, what am I to do with them all? Well why not give them away and to those who would appreciate them? It is not just your loved ones who enjoy receiving cards but children who are in long-term care at your local hospital appreciate them too.

I have been creating Kard 4 Kids for over three years now. When my son and I go to the city we stop in and deliver some cards for the children. The cards are kept at the nurse's station and are then given away to the children who have a birthday while they are in the hospital. This nice gesture from the medical staff sure puts a smile on the children's faces. I am so very happy to help out with that. So....without further ado...here are some..... ~~~~~

Hello there...some stuff from Bela's Creating Place

Hello everyone: I hope you are enjoying your day. I have been crazy busy with LIFE like most or all of us but I am back. Here to share some fun things that I have created. I have been trying to get on the "mass production" wave. This is just one set of cards that I created for a friend's birthday.

I used the "My Favourite Things" (MFT) stamp. I coloured the images in with my Prima colouring pencils a solvent and my Close to My Heart markers. The flourishes are die cuts with my Quikutz Revolution, the flowers from Prima flowers and the leaves punched out with the Martha Stewart punch. The patterned papers are from the Cottage collection from Chatterbox. I haven't used peach for a while and I thought I would give it a try. What do you think?

"LET'S DISH THE DIRT".......

Here is a set of cards requested from a friend. She asked me for some Thank You cards to two wonderful ladies that took care of her home and business while she was away. I used paper from the Basic Grey 6x6 card patterened paper pack. I am sorry I do not know the name of this one but if you do please let me know. The stamp is from Stamping Bella. This is what I came up with. The inscription on the inside reads....

"THANK YOU"......This same friend asked me for a "Thinking of You" card in purple with sparkling hearts. This is what I came up with too.

Lastly...I have been busy creating cards for the Hospital for Sick Children. I am trying to gear to the older children who sadly spend their birthdays at the hospital. Hopefully they will have many birthdays to come. I used a lot of my High Hopes stamps and some of Mo's Digi images for these fun Birthday cards. This is just the beginning and the top of the chopping block. Stay tuned tomorrow for an overall look at all of these goodies.

Okay I think I have just a few more and then I will give myself the grand total of Valentine cards that I created in the last two weeks.

I find it much easier to whip through themed cards because I place all of the items, paper, cardstock, ribbon, flowers etc., all on a separate table so that I can rummage quickly through.

This card is for my wonderful Fella. I loved this image when I saw it on Diane's blog and asked her if she would send some images to me for a swap. Diane was overly generous and I am very appreciative. I am having a lot of fun creating cards with the images that she sent me.

Hello everyone: I made some more "Thinking of You" cards today. I wanted to use up the rest of the "Chatterbox" papers and move onto more exciting stuff.

Yesterday I was offered to make 50 Birthday Cards for a great cause.

AUTISM AWARENESS....is having a Fundraising dinner in April featuring an auction table. My cards will be on that table to be auctioned off for Autism Awareness.

On June 7th my children and I will be doing the Autism Walk in Toronto. I am so happy to be a part of this as my youngest son is high-functioning Autistic and he has come a long way. Therefore I will walk a long way for others like him.

I am just having fun creating with these stamps and making cards.

Here is one of the Magnolia Halloween stamps, I used it for a Birthday card. It could have a sentiment of "Saturday's Child" and the poem can be inserted inside the card.

I used the same stamp for a Valentine Card...."You sweep me off of my feet."

Then I went onto my High Hopes stamps.....this card inspired me with the new Disney movie..."The Princess and the Frog." Isn't he just the cutest?

I used another High Hopes stamp to create this fun card. There's a whole lot of Lion....ahem Lovin' going on....

Happy Birthday Card

My daughter was invited to two birthday parties this past weekend. What a social butterfly lol...I made this card for her to give to her friend with the same name as hers. I wanted to use spring-like colors to cheer up my blog. Although snow has fallen twice now in Souther Ontario, there isn't a lot on the ground. Not like last year, this card was enough to cheer up a winter blah.

I used my Magnolia stamps and I coloured the image with my new Prisma colouring pencils. I used a non-toxic clear liquid to shade the image. I love using it. I bought the crayons and the liquid at "Curry's" an art store in Ontario.

Hello everyone: I created this card for my entry to "My Time to Craft" Challenge No. 73...this challenges asks for blue and brown.

I have been ill with bronchial pnuemonia and my friends, relatives and acquaintances on Facebook, were so kind to send me well wishes. There were too many to mail out thank you cards to, therefore, I created one card and I posted it as a "virtual Thank You" card.

I used Mo's Digi Pencil stamp..."Swine Flue or Pig with a cold." Since we had the brush of Swine Flu at my house in November, I thought this digi stamp would be the best.

STAMP SOMETHING--- New Somethings Challenge

Good day everyone: Over at "Stamp Something" blog, the challenge is "New Somethings." It can be something you received for Christmas or something you bought. I chose to use my new Magnolia, Tilda as Cupid..I loved playing with this stamp today.

Now looky looky at all the neat stamps I received by mail today. Oh my word..they are just so cute. I have Halloween and Valentine Magnolias to keep me busy for both seasons. The great thing about the little Devils is that I can use them for both occassions. Stayed tuned, I feel a RAK coming on.....

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - NEW BEGINNINGS CHALLENGE 2010

Hello everyone: I hope you have started your day off being very creative. Today's card is one that I created for PAPERTAKE WEEKLY'S NEW BEGINNINGS CHALLENGE 2010. Anythine new goes, therefore I decided to capture "NEW LOVE." I love this Whipper Snapper stamp. The lil Chihuahua is in love with the St. Bernard. A match made in heaven.

I used an array of papers that I purchased last year at Michaels for this card. The flowers are prima, the leaves punched out with Martha Stewart's punch and the hearts from the Dollar Store.

HURRY UP SUMMER....House Mouse Challenge #60

Hello I started to play in my creating station a little later today. I created this card, using a House Mouse image that was stamped for me by a kind blogging friend. House Mouse's Blog Challenge #60 is to create a BEACH THEME.....Well here are two adorable little mice cooling off on the hot summer sand and washing the sand off of their fur.

The striped patterned paper and the orange background paper are called, "Summer Cottage" and are from Daisy Bucket Designs. I am not sure where the pinwheel patterned paper comes from. The Wet & Wild Sticker is from: Pebbles Inc. and the Splash from Sandylion's 3D stickers.

The pail, shovel and seagulls are from: Creative Memories, summer stickers collection.

Oh hurry up sweet summer...it was cold and snowy here in Southern Ontario.

HIGH HOPES CHALLENGE NO. 57

This sweeeet Lil Piggy is for my entry in the HIGH HOPES CHALLENGE No. 57.....this challenge is a sketch challenge. Here is the sketch by Nikki.....

Here is my take on it....

I used the Paper Company's red cardstock, Bazzil Bling pink...the photo doesn't show it as pink..it it is the trelis strip behind the piggy. I also used, Recollectoins Basics, "Hot Pink Damask." I bought this patterned paper at Michaels and it states right on the written strip of paper that it co-ordinates with Bazzil cardstock. Yes very true. The pink really compliments the patterend paper.

The sentinment is also from High Hopes Stamps http://www.highhopesstamps.com/ and the added embellies are from my neighbourhood dollar store.

Whiff of Joy - Challenge No. 60

Wow this one was fun. I am not sure if I am too late but I wanted to try out the WHIFF OF JOY's Challenge No. 60. I used my Silhouette machine to cut the die cut frame. The patterned paper is Basic Grey's "Blush" and the cardstock is from Bazzil.

The image is from Whiff of Joy stamps and I just love using this adorable stamp for many occassions. For this challenge (sketch) I went with a Valentine theme.

My New Year's Resolution has stayed pretty true so far. Although I have come down with something (scratchy throat and aches) I still want to create. Here are my first Valentine cards of the season.....

SHAPED VALENTINE CARD - " ANYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES

I used Basic Grey's "Blush" patterned paper and the Paper Company cardstock. The stickers are from the dollar store. I love this little Tilda, Magnolia stamp, she is so cute. This heart is for the "Shaped Card Challenge" over at Lil Scrappers http://www.lilscrappers.ca/

I used Close to My Heart's Paper Pack, "More to Adore." I have almost run out of this pack. Their paper packs go a long way. Magnolia Tilda with cupcake and wooden spoon.

LOVE IS: BAKING WITH TILDA

Tilda is baking Valentine heart-shaped cookies for her sweetie. I used Stickles glitter to glam up and bling up the Prima flowers and the leaves punched out with the Martha Stewart Leaf punch.

This sitting Tilda is wishing for love. The puffy hearts are from the dollar store.

KISS ME TILDA

This Tilda is giving away kisses. I used the Martha Stewart punch for the trelis-like border. The stamp was found in the Michaels' $1.00 bin and the ribbon at the dollar store. You wouldn't believe what your neighbourhood dollar store carries.

BUTTERFLY KISSES AND VALENTINE WISHES

I used Bazzil Bling blue cardstock and ruby red with a hint of baby pink. I picked the colours out of the Basic Grey's "Blush" patterned paper to add colour to this card. The lips are full and luscious from the dollar store lol....The butterflies are from the Martha Stewart punch.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards and now I am off to create more challenges. Yes, this is the year Bela makes a ton of cards....counting up....on card no. 9

Card No. 9 went to my friend who is turning 40 today. We have a cake for her and some goodies.

I created this card for my Fella. I gave it to him with a small bubble gum machine. LOL..the presents just keep on giving. We all had a wonderful Christmas and are very much looking forward to a terrific New Year.

My New Year's resolution? To participate in more challenges. I just ordered some Magnolia stamps with my Christmas money and I am off to Wal-mart to pick up some of Martha Stewart's craft glue. I use the Zip Dry and this stuff looks very similar. I hope it works as good for almost half the price.

Well I do not know about you but I am tired from all the holiday hoop-la-la....I love to prepare for the festive time and I love to see family and friends. As for now, I want to sit in my Creating Station and Crop or creat cards other than Christmas cards. I have been creating Christmas cards since October. I mean I haven't even finished, nor have I met my quota on Halloween cards.

Just before Christmas I set out to create these for my neices. They always ask me for birthday cards for their friends. By the time I get to create one, it doesn't get picked up. So I gave them a little stash lol....

My youngest neice is a ballerina. My DD and I were happy to receive a gift to see my neice, DD's cousin at the Russian Nutcracker. It was wonderful. Inspired by Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy storyline, I created this card gift set.

Over a year ago a blogging friend sent me these ballerinas. I just adored them and I knew that I had my youngest neice in mind for these images......

JUST SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER

One thing I just love about the season is the spirit of giving. I love to give all year but there is something about the holidays that makes it all that special. My elves and I went door-to-door in our neighbourhood to collect toiletries for the women's shelter. I wanted to do something different this year. I have collected for the food drive, pregnant teens, homeless and for individual families through sponsorship. Every year it is something different. So my Fella and I went last Friday to deliver these goodies.

This card was made upon my Fella's request. Two elves..his little girls one blonde and the other a brunette.

These cards were gifted to DD teacher. She just loved them all.

These cards were gifted to the lady that helped me at the agency for women and children in domestic violence. They have helped me a lot this year and will continue to do so in the new year.

These cards were created for a dear cardmaking friend who has come and purchased a few cards from me this year lol.....She also does respite with my autistic son.

I received this from my secret sister..oops I wasn't supposed to open till Christmas Day....shhh..... the next photo is of a card that I created at my son's request, he is only 12....for his girlfriend at school. He went and bought her a gift with his own paper route money.

Funny Christmas Cards

Hi everyone: Well there aren't many shopping days or card delivery days left till the big day..so I must get cracking. I have an exam this week and I must find time to create, study oh and be a Mom too lol.....I am so glad my kids appreciate my hobby and like to be a part of it. They either want to create or give me the time to create LOL>..I am a lucky Mom....

Yes Toy Story..with the Aliens..in the game at Pizza Planet. LOL....I had fun creating this one and I opted to make this week the humour Christmas cards for all those funny people in my life. My next card sentiment for this design is, "You are the chosen one." Merry Christmas.

Here is another humourous card. I used the Whiff of Joy little mouse, he is too cute. I bought him through the townscrapper in Petrolia. Phebe always has amazing items in her store and great bargains too.

Christmas Cards in Bela's Station

Hi everyone: I have been busy making cards lately. I am trying to use up most of my Christmas and Winter paper so that I can make room for more for next year. I am hoping to get my hands on more Figgy Pudding, that is my favourite Basic Grey Holiday paper. Anyone know a site for me to purchase some? Care to share?

Well here is a series of three snowmen cards. In fact these cards were inspired by a snowman display at a craft store just on the outskirts of town. The Snowmen were white, black and gold.

Well it is officially here....the month of DECEMBER. Can you believe it and where did the year go? In Toronto, Canada the last recorded time (at Pearson Airport) of a November without snow was in 1937 and before that was in the 1830's. Wow this was the sunniest and mildest November I have ever seen in my lifetime and today, being December 1st it was the sunniest and warmest December day I have ever seen. All I ask is for a White Christmas and then we can get along and go to Spring. LOL>

I wanted to share today some cards that I created with my new Digi images from Mo's Pencil. I used the Choir and the Sticky Elf images for these fun cards. I would also like to share my trip to the Eaton Centre/Bay in downtown Toronto with you. It is a beautiful city during the holidays. I took photos of the magical windows of the Bay and sadly for me the sun's rays didn't allow for me to take such a great photo. Most of the manequins in the window move and there is music in every window. Look at Santa Claus see how his head turns around. Enjoy.....I hope you have a great evening,

My son Justyn and I at the Eaton Centre....

Santa really moves his head to look at you as you look in the window. The Elves are feasting with Santa after his flight and Mrs. Claus is putting a warm Hudson's Bay cloak on Santa's shoulders. So sweet.

The mice are shown underneath the workshop. Each window is animated in the most whimsical way.
The elves are preparing the reindeer for their flight.....

Mom has prepared the Christmas fixin's and the children are nestled in the Parlor. I love the Victorian theme.

The carolers are wonderful to see too.

I think that is Tiny Tim up on top of that ladder looking at the street lamp with his folks watching.

The Elves's workshop is always a busy place.

Lastly, the grand Christmas tree in the middle of the mall. I hear that Santa's photo centre has moved to just behind this tree. Well on Sunday my Fella and I are going to the Eaton Centre with his kids and mine. Let's wait and see if Santa is really behind that tree. You know I will come back with photos LOL>....

I just love the "Little Drummer Boy" his sweet gift to the baby Jesus just shows us that it is not what you buy or who can get the largest most expensive present. He was on the right track. The gift of music from his little drum is the sweetest gift of all time.

Cute Card Thursday...GLITTER ME SILLY

I made this card for the CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE No. 86
"Glitter Me Silly" and this little penguin is silly lol.

This little penguin was RAKed to me by a friend on Lilscrappers http://lilscrappers.ca/ and I decided to use him for this fun challenge. Hop on over to "CUTE CARD THURSDAY's" Blog and join in on the fun.

I used the Stickles Silver glitter to jazzy up the matt paper, I used glittery ribbon with shimmery snowflakes and glitter bling brads. The Penguin is outlined with the Sakura clear glitter pen for an embossed look.
